CARL PRINZ Obituary

Carl J. Prinz, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away May 25, 2012. Carl was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Thayer, MO. He worked for BTM of Belton, MO for nearly 30 years and was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Independence, MO. Carl loved hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He was an avid Royals fan and never missed watching or listening to a game. Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Spc. Carl Andrew Williams. He is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Reva (Bonds) Prinz; daughters Vickie Barclay, Lafayette, CA, Cindy Williams and husband Mike, Sugar Creek, MO, and Shellie Speer and husband Bill, Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Rosemary Shaw, Erin Barclay, Kelsey Barclay, Anna Speer, Jesse Speer and Jay Speer and wife Heather; and great-grandchildren Josephine and Max Shaw and Brooklyn, Brady, A.J. and Macy Speer. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on May 30, at Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Services will be held at 10 a.m. with burial immediately following at Mt.
