Robert B. Crosthwait Sr.

1928 - 2013

Robert B. Crosthwait, Sr. 85, of Lake Waukomis, Mo., passed away November 19, 2013, at the Villages of Jackson Creek, under the care of Grace Hospice. Bob was born March 1, 1928, in Granite City, Illinois, to Albert Crosthwait and Virginia Kegin McCaughey. He served in the US Navy and retired from TWA after 42 years as a line mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Richard, granddaughter, Toni Moore and a great grandson, Spencer Crosthwait. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, brother, Albert Jean Crosthwait, two sons, Jerry and Buddy (Barbara), his daughter, Cathy (Dennis) Pryor, daughter-in-law, Sally Crosthwait, eight grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Bob was greatly loved and will be missed by his family and his many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Lake Waukomis Community Building, 1147 S.
