Arthur Weldon Law, Jr., 85, beloved husband of Charlene, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born Aug. 25, 1928, at Cheyenne, Wyo., to Weldon and Frances Law. He graduated from Cheyenne High School and attended the University of Wyoming. He served in the United States Marine Corps and in the United States Army. In 1949 he moved to Kansas City, Mo. There he met his wife of 63 years, Charlene Warmington Law. He had a lifelong career as a commercial graphic artist and art director working with Kansas City advertising agencies, then as a freelance graphic artist. His hobbies were fine arts painting, traveling, woodworking and listening to music. His interests were eclectic and far-reaching and many hours were spent in conversation with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Charlene, daughter; Ellen Law Kendrick and husband John, Richards, Mo.; son, Glenn W. Law, Orlando, Fla.; grandsons, Jackson Kendrick and Samuel Kendrick of Richards, and Jesse Townsend Law and wife Jessica, and great grandson, Calvin Arthur Law of Sacramento, Calif.
