I new Greg back in the mid 1960s. He went to school with friends and my sister I used to know. I ran with his brother David back then. He was always one older guys that kids a couple years younger looked up to. I know David did. I just happened to see this and felt I wanted to tell his wife Brenda as well as the Perry family how sorry i am for there loss. Greg was a special person. RIP Roger Miller Fair Oaks Ca.

My family is extremely saddened for all of Greg's family. During these difficult times we pray that you will find comfort in knowing that Greg will forever be in God's memory. We pray that you all find comfort in the God of peace (Psalm 83:18).

I will remember my many conversations with Mr. Perry and miss his warm sense of humor. Mr. Perry sought to do what was right and best for the situation. He was a great representative for his community on the Lake City Restoration Advisory Board. May God bless his family during this difficult time.

I got to know Mr. Perry well when I worked for the state. He was always so friendly and kind. He had such a big heart. A slap on the back or a hearty hug was his style. He cared so much for his community and his country. He was always pointing out ways the state and federal government could do better and he always had questions and concerns that he was not afraid to voice. He was strong in so many ways and because of that strength he was a role model. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. And I will keep all of you in my prayers for the loss of such a great man with such a large personality.

Mr. Perry was a true patriot! I enjoyed his stories and love for America. He always challenged me both personally and professionally. I did not know he was ill, but the Lord has healed him now. My thoughts and prayers are with sweet Brenda and his family.

Greg had the heart and courage of a lion. The courage of his convictions led him to stand strong and stay the course in his many associations and involvements. He and Brenda were the kind of people you always loved to see,and were always glad to have in your corner.
Greg always brought a vitality into a room when he entered. He was always looking for a way to improve things, or help them run more effectively.
My heart just aches for Brenda, I know she knows it is only a temporary separation, but the pain is still there.
Many organizations I'm sure are grieving the loss of a very fine man.
