Dear Inci and family,
Professor Paige was my first grad school voice teacher. He spoke glowingly of you,
explaining to me that your name was pronounced "een-jee," not "een-chee." He interacted with many students, not just his own, recognizing fine improvements and accomplishments. He also let you know, in polite but distinct ways, if you weren't living up to the potential he saw in you. I assisted him with a KU music camp class one summer. He played many vocal recordings for the high school students. One was a recording of him in his younger days. What a gorgeous tenor voice with perfect artistry - I've never heard better. A fine man and teacher who will be missed.

Dear Inci and family,
Paul and I want to express our condolences to you upon the death of your husband, Norman. We read about it in this morning's Kansas City Star. We know he will be missed by many people but most especially, of course, by you and his family.
Love to you,
Paul and Joan Sommers
