Robert E. Davidson, 61, of Benedict, KS, will be remembered for his joy of the holiday season and he celebrated his last Christmas before passing away December 26, 2002, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 30, at the Maple Hill Funeral Home. His family requests no flowers. Bob worked as an electromechanic for T.W.A. for 32 years. He is probably best remembered as a long time Kansas City area Santa Claus who brought joy and happiness to everyone whose life he touched. He attended the Chanute Church of the Nazarene and was an Air Force veteran. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Stella Davidson, two brothers, Raymond and Donald Davidson and a sister, Doris Bary. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Colene Marie Davidson, of the home, two sons, David Wayne Davidson, Kansas City, MO, and Duane Rayborn, Kansas City, KS, two daughters, Rhonda Callison, Riverside, MO, Colette Thompson and her husband Ray, Pomona, KS, a brother, Rev. James Davidson and wife Marge, Forsythe, MO, two sisters, Betty Nixon, Lee's Summit, MO, Carol Farmer and her husband Henry, Pleasant Hill, MO, five grandchildren, Shane, Cassy, Crystal, Dalton and Gage and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
