ST. CHARLES – Anna J. Musgrove, 95, of St. Charles, former longtime resident of Florida, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Chicago, the daughter of William and Anna (Andrews) Lee.
Anna was active in First Baptist Church of Geneva. She enjoyed caring for others and was very involved with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends, and was always up for a good game of bridge or rummy, or a challenging puzzle.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Martha) Musgrove of West Palm Beach, Fla., Rita (Bob) West of St. Charles, Steven (Nicke) Musgrove of Jupiter, Fla., and William (Linda) Musgrove of Hamilton, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her dedicated caregiver, Merilyn Moreno. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Eugene; parents; and brother, William Lee.
A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Geneva, 2300 South St., with Pastor Roger Crites officiating.
Burial will be private at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
