ST. CHARLES – Joan J. Pancamo, 83, of St. Charles, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, after her long battle with cancer.
She was born March 16, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Harold William and Anne Barron.
Joan was an active resident of Carroll Towers in St. Charles, performing and enjoying many duties there. The family would like to thank the wonderful people of St. Charles and Geneva that touched their mother's life with love and kindness.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Robert) Rezzuto of St. Charles, Bonnie(Robert) Urban of Chicago, Susan Pancamo of DeKalb, Patricia (Glenn) Basarab of Grass Valley, Calif., David Pancamo of Waucona, and Matthew (Kelly) Pancamo of Bartlett; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and a son, Anthony.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Rte 38), Geneva, with the Rev. Richard Watts officiating.
Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery Geneva. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SU2C Stand Up to Cancer, File 1224 1801 W. Olympic Blvd Pasadena, CA 91199-1224
