BATAVIA – Frances Whiteside, 83, of Batavia, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. She was born March 13, 1929, in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of Walter and Frances (nee Shaw) McKeeman. She was united in marriage to William Whiteside on Jan. 23, 1954, in Amherst, Mass.
Frances is survived by her husband, William; two children, Patricia Whiteside and David Whiteside both of Park Forest; three grandchildren, Mark (Amy) Whiteside, Christina (Billy) McCann, and Julie (Stephan) Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Dean and Alexa Whiteside and Tony Wilson; and a sister, Anne Foresman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and Frederick McKeeman.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m.
A graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Monee.
