Jared R. Snyder Obituary
SOUTH ELGIN – Jared R. Snyder, 27, of South Elgin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his home with family at his side. Born Oct. 18, 1985, in Saginaw, Mich., Jared always had a zest for life. He loved to talk sports, especially football, and was a faithful fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Lions and Tigers, as well as the Michigan Wolverines.

Having a wonderful gift of gab, Jared easily turned strangers into friends, and was never at a loss for things to chat about. He enjoyed a wide range of music, was a car enthusiast, and had a soft spot for man's furry best friend. His gentle and loving heart made Jared a gentleman that will always be remembered and a loyal friend to many.

Jared is survived by his loving son, Ayden Snyder of Bay City, Mich.; parents, Stan and Patty Snyder of South Elgin, and Vicki and John Horne of Bay City, Texas; sisters, Candace Snyder of Perrysburg, Ohio, Tiffany Mathus of Monroe, Mich., Amy Horne of Texas; brothers, Luke and Johnathan Horne of Texas; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

A funeral service for Jared will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Charles, with the Rev. Mark Larson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Yurs Funeral Home in St. Charles. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Midland Municipal Cemetery in Midland, Mich. Memorials may be offered to Journeycare of Barrington; The Living Well Cancer Resource Center of Geneva; and Bethlehem Lutheran Church of St. Charles.
