Lois Rogers, nee Krahn, passed away at the home she and her husband, Ken "Jim" Rogers built in Big Rock on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

She was born May 20, 1924 in Aurora, daughter of the late Laura and Emil Krahn. She and her husband owned and operated J & L Stables in Big Rock for 40 years. Lois enjoyed her horses and her dogs.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Ken "Jim"; sister, Mildred "Sis" Burkhart of Oswego; daughters, Melody Collins of Big Rock and Lynda Rogers; daughter-in-law, Sharon Rogers; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her son, Roy Rogers; son-in-law, Roby Collins; sisters, Esther Hammer and Ruth Hoffman; brothers, Paul Krahn and Donald Krahn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the funeral home followed by a burial at River Hills Memorial Park.
