Lorine Rohrbach Obituary

Born: March 6, 1927; in Hosmer, S.D.
Died: May 31, 2011; in Knoxville, Tenn.

LOUDON, Tenn. – Lorine Rohrbach, 84, of Loudon, formerly of St. Charles passed Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.

She was born March 6, 1927, in Hosmer, S.D., to Martin and Barbara Bender.

For several years, she was involved in the Women's Guild at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in St. Charles.

Mrs. Rohrbach is survived by her daughter, Judy (Kenneth) Metzger of Loudon; a granddaughter, Michelle (Mike) Dixon of Cummings, Ga.; two sisters, Hilda (Ep) Sieler of Rapid City, S.D., and Otillia Guthmiller of Lake Stevens, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; a grandson, Kenneth Paul Metzger; a brother, Albert Bender; and three sisters, Ellen Rohrbach and Gertrude Bitz, Freida Bieber.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 101 South 6th Ave., St. Charles. Rev. Timothy Silber officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main St., (corner of routes 64 and 25), St. Charles.

They were such a wonderful couple and no matter where you ran into them always had smiles. I loved driving by the house and saw all the beautiful flowers they had every year. GOD BLESS they are together now.
