Louie Henry VerVynck, 81, of St. Charles, IL, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at his home surround by his loving family. He was born February 11, 1937, in St. Charles, IL the son of Louis J. and Lois (Brown) VerVynck. He was united in marriage to Suzanne Nelson November 3, 1956, in St. Charles IL.

Louie was employed at American Can in Batavia until his retirement in 1999. He was an active member of St. Charles Moose Lodge. He was also a lifetime member of the St. Patrick Church. Louie enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, boating, or spending time at his summer home in Wisconsin with family and friends. He also enjoyed many days cruising in his 1965 Mustang Convertible.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; three children, Dale (Kim) VerVynck of West Chicago, Ronald (Dede) VerVynck of Cape Girardeau, MO and Cheri (Joe) Heiss, of St. Charles; nine grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Nick, Tyler, Tiffany, Amanda, Danny, Josh, and Drew; six great grandchildren, Kage, Chance, Journey, Riley, Hunter and Hayden; two sisters, Joan Larson of Batavia and Barbara (Wayne) Caudill of New Concord, OH; one aunt, Patricia VerVynck; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father in 1981 and his mother in 2010; twin grandsons, Bryan and Brad VerVynck; and a step grandson, Sean Heiss.

Visitation will be held 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 29, 2018 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Charles, IL.
