 Lexington resident, 80 LEXINGTON - Phillip Araujo, 80, of Lexington died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at his home. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington with the Rev. Jorge Canela officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery at Lexington. There will be no visitation or rosary service. The body was cremated. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 20, 1932, in Shelton to Marcus and Gertrude (Hernandez) Araujo. On Dec. 17, 1951, he married Josephine Hernandez in Littleton, Colo. Survivors include his wife; sons, Phillip Jr. and Marty, both of Lexington, and Jeffrey of North Platte; daughters, Cynthia Moats of Omaha and Peggy Jo Hubbard and Christine Villalpando, both of Lexington; brothers, Paul of Omaha and Pedro "Pete" of Lexington; sister, Ruby Rangel of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.

 Broken Bow resident, 82 KEARNEY - Faith Irene (Mattox) Harrold, 82, of Broken Bow died Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Kearney. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with the Rev. Scot Harvey officiating. Burial will be at Broken Bow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with the family present from 6-8 p.m. She was born Oct. 3, 1930, to William "Bunt" and Virginia (Apperson) Mattox at the family farm in Rose Valley. On Oct. 3, 1949, she married Orville W. Harrold at Fairbury. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Gloria Duryea of Merna, Neva Meyerhoff of Randolph, N.J., and Melanie Lovgren of Omaha; brothers, Max Mattox and Joe Mattox, both of Broken Bow, and Dale Mattox of Cheyenne, Wyo.; sisters, Darlene Mattox of Broken Bow and Carolyn Miles of Lincoln; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

 Lexington resident, 90 LEXINGTON - Donald J. Johnson, 90, of Lexington died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington. Memorial celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Lexington with the Rev. Tess Hufford officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oconto Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. He was born May 21, 1923, near Oconto to Ralph and Lottie Bell (Preston) Johnson. In 1950, he married Ilece Potts. She died in October 1992. On March 24, 1994, he married Irene (Clark) Johnson in Ogallala. Survivors include his wife; brother, Stanley of North Platte; sister, Doris Fischer of Lewellen; stepson, Kent Johnson of Oklahoma City; and stepdaughter, Kathlene Cone of Fresno, Calif.

RAVENNA - Martha Kuster, 91, of Ravenna died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Seneca Sunrise in Ravenna.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna with the Rev. Micah Gaunt officiating. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Seward County to Louis and Ida (Stillhahn) Luebbe.
On March 3, 1947, she married Edwin Schinkel. He died in 1962.
On March 19, 1983, she married Clarence Kuster. He died in 1998.
Survivors include her sons, Paul Schinkel and Eldon Schinkel, both of Kearney; daughters and sons-in-law, Elnida and Dale Chandler of Pleasanton, Karen and Gil Krajnik of Malcolm and Janis Keller of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Chris Chandler of Kearney, Neal Chandler and his wife, Lauri, and their children, Grady, Carly and Lily of Pleasanton, Todd Chandler of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Florida, Julie Strate and her husband, Caleb, and sons Nolan and Wyatt of Lincoln, Nick Krajnik of Raymond, Kelly Grotzinger and her husband, Todd, of Lincoln, Ivy Lux and her husband, Tony, and sons, Jack and Milo of Kearney, Celia Schinkel of Lincoln, Garrett Schinkel of Kearney, Raine Schinkel of Denison, Texas, Haley Keller of Lincoln and John Keller and Joshua Keller of Martinsburg; sister-in-law, Jeanette Carstens of Ravenna; and many nieces and nephews.
She attended elementary school at Immanuel Lutheran School and received her GED from Ravenna High School in 1976.
Martha lived in Sherman County until 1962. She moved to Ravenna, where she worked at Scotties Café and the Good Samaritan Center.
She married Clarence and she moved to the Kuster family farm in eastern Buffalo County. In 1999, she returned to Ravenna.
Martha blessed many lives with her warm, friendly personality, her strong faith, her willingness to volunteer and her artwork. She was honored in 2012 by the Ravenna Girl Scouts for her service as a leader. She also shared her time with the ESL program in Grand Island, chaired the local chapter of Lutheran Brotherhood for years and was a member of the Dorcas Society of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the North Shelton ladies group.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ida Schildt; brothers, Paul and Harold Luebbe; and son-in-law, Scott Keller.
Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna or Zion Lutheran Church, North Shelton.

He was born July 5, 1917, in Almena, Kan., to James and Mary (Wendel) Liggett. On Dec. 29, 1939, he married Leona Hunsberger in Washington, D.C. She died Feb. 18, 1995. On Aug. 3, 1996, he married Agnes King. Survivors include his wife; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Lynn Bombeck of Shelton and Patricia and Donald Stienike of Fremont; stepsons and stepdaughter-in-law, Larry and Judy King of Kearney and Terry King of Harrisburg, Pa.; grandchildren and their spouses, Lori and John Revesz of Centennial, Colo., Richard Bruce and Julia Bombeck of Grand Island, Doran and Kristie Stienike and Wanda and Craig Stumpff, all of Elkhorn, and Steven and Lindsey Stienike of Omaha, deployed to Afghanistan; great-grandchildren, Megan Bombeck of Omaha and her fiancé, Danny Zegers of Lincoln, Jared Bombeck of Lincoln, Anna, Ellie and Jon Stienike, Alex, Sean and Ryan Stumpff, all of Elkhorn, and Piper and Cooper Stienike of Omaha; brother, Francis Liggett and his wife, Rosalie, of Vancouver, Wash.; sister, Freda Hanke of Ballwin, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Lois Liggett of Winfield, Kan., Ione Seifer and her husband, Fred, Alice Morgan and Irene Seifer. In 1923, his family moved to Flagler, Colo., and in 1933 to Shelton, where he finished high school and graduated in 1935. Harold and Leona had two daughters, Janice Elaine and Patricia Ann. Harold and Leona moved to Shelton in 1943, and they lived there the remainder of their 55 years of marriage. Harold and Agnes lived in Shelton before moving to Kearney in 2009. Harold was a government employee from 1939 until his retirement in 1986, the last 34 years with the Postal Service. He and Leona traveled and wintered in Apache Junction, Ariz., and Texas for many years. He enjoyed woodcarving, woodworking projects, rock hunting, traveling and reading. He was baptized at the Flagler Congregational Church in 1929. He transferred to the Shelton Methodist Church and was a member there since 1933. Harold was a member of Masonic Lodge for more than 60 years. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert M. SURPRISE, Ariz. - Georgia Jean (Damratowski) Mohr, 67, of Sun City West died Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Surprise.
Services will be private.
She was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Loup City, Neb., to George and Evangeline (Placek) Damratowski.
On July 25, 1965, she married Carl "Stanley" Mohr. He died in 2009.
Survivors include her brother, Al Damratowski of Kearney; sisters, Paulette Slominski and her husband, Steve, and Shelly Mason and her husband, Skip, all of Kearney; father-in-law, Carl Mohr of McCook; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Corey and her husband, Neal, of McCook; and nephews and nieces.
She graduated from Loup City High School. She worked for the telephone office and several banks. She attended the Catholic church.
She and Stan were involved in many organizations in McCook. She loved to play bunco, scrapbooking and putting golf. She was active in the Red Hats organization in Phoenix.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Doris; and a niece.
