Linda M. Kiest, 70, of Leland, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 21, 1947, in Joliet, IL, the daughter of LaVern and Ada (Grief) Iverson. She married Carl G. Kiest on July 12, 2003, in Ottawa, IL. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk, IL. Linda worked as a bank teller in Leland for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Carl of Leland; one son, Troy (Kendra Meinen) Jacobson of Maple Park, IL; two daughters, Andrea (Brian) Niles of Leland, IL, and Rebecca (Tim) Bonneau of Sandwich, IL; and one step-daughter, Melissa (Ron) Humphrey of Newburg, MO; seven grandchildren, who will be honorary pallbearers; five sisters, Bertha (Ted) Smith and Barbara (Dave) Nelson, both of Leland, IL, Lorena (Dale) Maitland of Somonauk, IL, Nancy (Larry) Ensor of Sheridan, IL, and Bernadette (John) Weymouth of Earlville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patricia Guelde.

Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Rev. Kevin Butler officiating. Burial of her urn will be in St. Vincent Cemetery in LaSalle, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the funeral home until the service at 3:00 p.m.
