Alamar D. Sauceda
1931 - 2013
Alamar D. Sauceda, 82, of Kenosha passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at her residence.
Born on October 31, 1931, in Cotulla, Tex., she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Delfina (Cruz) Del Toro. She was educated in Texas coming to Kenosha in the early 1970s to make her home.
In 1945 she married Ramon Sauceda in Cotulla, Tex. He preceded her in death.
Alamar had been a volunteer at the CYC Club and enjoyed fishing, camping, Spanish Bingo, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving Alamar are her eleven children, Raul Sauceda of Spokane, Wash., Abdias Zero (Sandy) Sauceda of Sauk Village, Ill., Ramon Sauceda of Burlington, Wis., Yolanda (Mark) Kraintz of Kenosha, Abel Sauceda of Redgranite, Wis., Eleticia Barker of Kenosha, Elizabeth Medina of Spokane, Wash., Oscar Sauceda of Kenosha, Samuel (Jill) Sauceda of Kenosha, Ruth Cruz of Kenosha, and John Sauceda of Kenosha; a brother, Manuel Del Toro of Kenosha; a sister, Rose (Mark) Schullo of Addison, Ill.; 36 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a grandson, Joseph Kuhn; three sisters, Beatrice Ramirez, Maria Hernandez and Angelita Perez; and a brother, Tomas Del Toro.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Gospel Chapel, 2500 Roosevelt Road, Kenosha, WI 53143, at 5 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Gospel Chapel from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
