Robert Achilles Tenuta
1930 - 2013
Robert Achilles Tenuta, 82, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at his home in Pleasant Prairie.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1930, in Kenosha, the son of the late Achilles Kelly and Elizabeth (Conforti) Tenuta, and also preceded in death by his stepmother Jennie Tenuta. He married Linda (Carlson) Baylor on July 24, 1993, at St. Marys Lutheran Church in Kenosha.
Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He cherished traveling with his family, sharing cuddles with his grandkids, playing cards with friends and tending the yard. He was also very proud of his Italian heritage and his service in the Army Air Corps during the Korean War. After his discharge he worked as an electrician and was a proud member of the IBEW Local 127 for many years until his retirement in 1995.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Linda; three children, Beth (Joel) Kaufmann of Pleasant Prairie, Brett (Wendy) Baylor of Green Bay, and Chris (Mary) Baylor of Grafton; four grandchildren, Meredith, Molly and Mallory Kaufmann of Pleasant Prairie and Beckett Baylor of Green Bay; two sisters, Mary Jane (Richard) Lequia of Kenosha and Betty (James) Paul of Pleasant Prairie; and countless family and friends.
Bobs family would like to thank Dr. James Santarelli and his wonderful staff for the kind and compassionate care throughout the years.
