Thomas, Donna - Kenosha  
Donna J. Thomas 1955 - 2014 Donna Jean Thomas, 59, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly at United Hospital System on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014. Born on April 14, 1955, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Milan and Dolores (Waldow) Thomas. Donna graduated from St. Joseph High School and had been employed for 18 years by the Law Office of Loren J. Keating, LLC, as a Legal Assistant. She was a devoted mother who diligently worked to raise her three children. A prior member of the Southport Quilters Guild, quilting was her spare time passion; no family member is without one or more of her artfully created pieces. A strong but quiet supporter of others, she always put their needs before her own. She will be sadly missed by her survivors: Parents, Milan and Dolores Thomas; daughters Cheryl Brown, Emily (Andy) Brzezinski; son, Alan Brown; sister, Linda (Ben) St. Louis; and three granddaughters, McKayla, Taylor and Clara. Also survived by nephew and nieces, Steven (Krista) St. Louis, Michelle St. Louis (Bill Angelo) and Kristine (Jason) Stolfi and five great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery/ Mausoleum. Tuttle, Gerald - Kenosha  
Gerald Wayne Tuttle 1929 - 2014 Gerald Wayne Tuttle, of Kenosha, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at St. Catherine's. He died from complications from the brain tumor on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at home where he resided with his daughter, Holly Tuttle. Gerald was born on Aug. 3, 1929, in Whitehall, Ill., while his parents (Kenosha residents) were on vacation visiting family. He attended Kenosha public schools. Received his ordination from Moody Bible Institute and pastored a church in Dayton, Ohio along with his wife, Stella (Kadis) during the 1950's. Gerald most recently owned and operated Kiddie Kare A'Kademie, 9244-39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI, which he built in 1991 and owned with his wife until he sold it to his daughter, Holly Tuttle, in 2011. He previously owned Treasures Christian Book & Boutique, Kenosha, Wis., which he ran with his wife Stella, son Terry and daughter-in-law Carla (Wyatt) from 1982 to 1994. He owned and operated a fleet of five Mr. Softee trucks (Kenosha, Wis.) in the 1960's and self-employed landscaping business. He was an employee at Nash, AMC and J.I. Case (Racine, Wis.) until he retired in 1986. Gerald enlisted in the Air Force when he was 18. He served three years until he received an honorable discharge. He was an active monthly supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the ASPCA. He volunteered as a Pony League coach here in Kenosha, from 1982 to 1990. He is survived by his daughters, Melody Bentz of Kapolei, Hawaii, and Holly Tuttle, owner of Kiddie Kare A'Kademie, of Kenosha. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Justin Bentz of Kapolei, Hawaii and Allison (Richard) Gilliland of Tulsa, Okla., and by his great grandchildren, Benson and Kadis Gilliland. He is further survived by his sister, Dorothy (Yates) Christensen of Kenosh; nephews, Doug (Joan) Stanich, Jeffrey (Martha) Stanich; nieces, Judy (Robert) Strunk and Kathy (Tutlewski) DiCello, and many other nieces, nephews and beloved friends. He will also be missed by his pets Sissy, Calla, Dexter, Magnum and Whiskers. He was preceded in death by his wife Stella (Kadis); son Terry; parents Rudolph and Grace (Farmer) Tutlewski; and brothers, Rudolph Jr., William, Robert and Marvin Tutlewski. His daughter Holly would like to express and Very Special "Thank You!" to their wonderful teaching staff at Kiddie Kare A'Kademie, Carrie Angelo, Al & Cory Arndt, Cyndi Block, Dayton Cheney, Scott & Brenda George, Brian & Beth Hackbarth, David & Paulette Hackbarth, Angel Hirsch , Antoinette Korbas, Becky Craft Lininger, Darryl Lueck, Deanna Matel, Pastor Dan & Alexia Remus, Beth Romero, George & Donna Schmidt, and other family and friends (you know who you are) for your amazing support through visits, emails, phone calls, texts and Prayers!!...you will never know how much your love and friendship meant to my dad and me during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Journey Church in Kenosha. (10700-75th Street) Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Greenridge Cemetery.
