Luke, June - Burlington  
June E. Luke 1923 - 2015 June E. Luke, 91, of Waukesha, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Linden Grove – Waukesha. Born in Kenosha on May 2, 1923, she was the daughter of Ernest and Alice (nee Johnson) Tabbert. She spent her early life in Somers where she attended Burr Oak Grade School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. On Sept. 14, 1945, she was united in marriage to Donald George Luke. Following marriage they made their home in the Town of Wheatland before moving to Springstead, Wis., in 1975. Don preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2010. In June's earlier years she worked at Kenosha Brassworks during WWII making ammunition for the troops. Following marriage she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls and in 1975 she and Don formed Springfield Realty. She is survived by her children, Dean (Jayne) Luke of New Munster, Sharon (Larry) Dittman of Waukesha, Danny Luke of Springstead, David (Linda) Luke of Burlington and Donna (Dennis) Hirthe of Sturgeon Bay; grandchildren, Jerry (Mary) Schuerman, Donald (Shelley) Schuerman, Nancy Iverson, Paul (Mona) Schuerman, Deanna Luke, Karen (Paul) Berenson, Bill Baumeister, Marie Baumeister, Robert (Stacy) Baumeister, Danielle Luke, Derrick Luke, Timothy (Lorena) Luke, Trisha (Jason) Fay, Nicky (Rob) Blasier, Jackie Hirthe, Christopher Hirthe and Samantha Hirthe; 22 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Helen (Albert) Schlitz of Springstead, Lenny Tabbert of Springstead and Ernest "Bunk" (Dolores) Tabbert of Somers along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law, Richard (Mary) Luke; grandson, Tim Iverson; niece, Lorena Luke and nephew, Ricky Luke. Services for June will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster with Rev. Terry Langley presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, March 3, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory 625 S. MacCracken, Georgene - Kenosha  
Georgene MacCracken 1926 - 2015 Georgene MacCracken, 89, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Parkside Manor surrounded by her loving family. Georgene was born on Jan. 24, 1926, in New York, the daughter of the late George and Anita (Mainberger) Kuchman. She was educated in the schools of New York. Georgene was a member of the U.S. Navy. She married Raymond MacCracken on Oct. 3, 1953 in Richmond Hill, N.Y. Georgene was a homemaker for many years. Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Denise (Gary) Elfe of River Hills, Wis., Lauryn (Randy) Mitchem of Oregon, Terese (Tom) Orthey of Gurnee, Jim (Kathy) MacCracken of Pleasant Prairie; nine grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Georgene was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and a sister, Phyllis. Funeral services were private. Georgene's family would like to thank the staffs of Seasons Hospice and Parkside Manor for all of the care that they provided . In lieu of flowers memorials to Seasons Hospice would be appreciated. Marifjeren, Robert - Kenosha  
Robert D. Marifjeren 1956 - 2015 Robert D. Marifjeren, 58, of Kenosha, died Monday Feb. 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Sept. 4, 1956, in Kenosha the son of the late William and June (Niccolai) Marifjeren. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, at St. George Catholic Grade School and graduated from Bradford High School. He worked for A.M.C.-Chrysler for 32 years. He also worked for C&M Construction. He married Candace Hamilton on Oct, 15, 1988, in Kenosha. His hobbies were golfing, camping, and bowling. He enjoyed cheering for the Packers and the Brewers, and spending time at his vacation home in the Dells. Survivors include his wife Candace and step daughter Heather (Dave) Jensen, both of Kenosha; four siblings, William (Bridget) Marifjeren of Kenosha, Jane (Randy) Goldberg of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Pat (Laurie) Marifjeren of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mike (Karen) Marifern of Kenosha; nephews, Bryan (Ashley), Kevin, Mark (Karen), David (Danielle), and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step daughter Steffany Olson. Visitation will be Friday Feb. 27, 2015, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services, with funeral services to follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials for the family would be appreciated. Meltzer, Ron - Kenosha  
Ronald B. Meltzer 1945 - 2015 Ronald Meltzer of Kenosha, Wis., entered into the loving arms of Jesus and was reunited with his mother and father on Feb. 15, 2015, in Naples, Fla., after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Racine Wis. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1970. Ron returned home and helped build the family business MAMCO as Vice President of Sales. He sat on the boards of the Danish Brotherhood, Deutscher Manner Verein, and served as President of Kenosha Country Club. He enjoyed travel, golf, fishing, and boating. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Ron is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra (Johnson) Meltzer, sons Eric (Amy) Meltzer and Ryan Meltzer; grandchildren, Jake, Noah, Madelyn and Caleb, brothers William (Karen) Meltzer, Curt (Judy) Meltzer, sister Debbie Meltzer, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Bandealy and his caring staff at Aurora Health Care, Kenosha, WI and Dr. Rubin of Naples FL. A celebration of Rons life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 212- 11th Street, Racine, WI. There will be a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 11.a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Evangelical United Methodist Building the Dream or Avow Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105 would be appreciated.
