John Mays 1947 - 2015 John Mays, 68, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Manor Care in Kenosha. John was born on May 5, 1947, in West Virginia, the son of the late Thomas and Frances (Adkins) Mays. He was educated in the schools of West Virginia. John was a self-employed roofer/sider for many years. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his children, Matthew (Victoria Marks) Mays of Kenosha, Shawnda (Jason) Phillips of Bonners Lake, Wis., Steven Mays of Sturtevant, Matthew (Raquel) Hader of Rib Mountain, Wis., Jesse Mays of N.Y., Danny Ayers of N.Y., Michelle and Elizabeth Mays of Wisconsin, John Mays Jr. of PA; sisters, Effie "Mary" Lilly of Kenosha, Wilma (Ronald) Roberts of West Virginia; and many grandchildren.John was preceded in death by a sisters, Lucille, Sylvia, Myrtle, and brothers, Kenny, George, Thomas, James jackson, and Randy. John is also survived by a close friend, Randy Masanz of Marathon, Wis. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at 4220-21st Ave., Kenosha, WI 53140, starting at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated. Joseph H. Carlino Joseph H. Carlino, 70, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at UHS-Kenosha Campus. Joe was definitely one of a kind...people who knew him loved him for his kind, generous and indomitable spirit. He always had a smile and a story for everyone he met, even though he suffered immensely with illness and loss in his life, he never complained choosing only to see the bright side. He didn't have much, but gave all he had to whoever needed it and touched many people's lives in a profound way. Joe loved making music, especially with his brothers and many friends. He also found enjoyment driving Hot Rods and motorcycles. He worked for ARA Food Services for 25 years; retiring due to illness. Joe is survived by his loving family; mother, Marie (Kusters) Carlino; sisters, Bernice (Stan) Lecce and Chris (Dick) Steinseifer; brothers, Gary (Pat) Carlino and David (Penny) Carlino, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; his son, Joey; his father, Salvadore Carlino; a sister, Jeanellyn Hujik; a brother in law, Frank Hujik; and a nephew, Michael Hujik. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at 4 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Sunday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately in St. George Cemetery. Johnson, Donald - Racine  
Donald Walter Johnson 1930 - 2015 Donald Walter Johnson of Torrance, Calif., passed away peacefully surrounded with family and prayers on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in LaCrosse, Wis. Born in Kenosha, Wis., on June 8, 1930, to Walter and Irene Johnson, Don remained in Kenosha through high school. It was shortly after graduation that he met his wife, Marjorie Heck, of Racine. They married on Nov. 15, 1952, and together moved to California, where Don began an aerospace career from which he would eventually retire after 35 years of service. An avid golfer, Don loved the game second only to his wife and family. He also enjoyed bowling and swimming in the beautiful beaches of southern California. He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. Don is survived by four children, Jerry (Michele Mayo), Larry ( Elaine Bustamante), Janice Schlesinger (Tom), Linda Niepke (Todd), a sister, Joyce Simo (Frank) and brother, Jim Johnson (Sharon) and 12 loving grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, in 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue, with Rev. Ricardo Martin officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested by the family. Lorraine L. Damask Lorraine L. Damask, 77, of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Brookdale of Kenosha surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7400 39th Avenue. A visitation for Lorraine will be held on Monday, Sept. 7 from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Private entombment will take place in All Saints Mausoleum. Klotz, Florence "Trudy" - Kenosha  
Florence E. "Trudy" Klotz 1924 - 2015 Florence E. "Trudy" Klotz, 91, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Grand Prairie Nursing Home. Trudy was born on Aug. 22, 1924, in Kenosha to Joseph and Madelien (Bauschelt) Klotz, and she was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She worked for 37 years as a traffic manager and shipping foreman at Lowe Inc. Trudy was also a case manager for the Kenosha Unemployment Office. She was president of the Kenosha and Racine Women's Traffic Association. She was a lifelong member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She volunteered for 15 years with the Mission House and organized bingo at St. George Catholic Church. Trudy enjoyed traveling including trips to California, Dallas, Portland, Miami, Kent, Ohio, and Toronto. She was an avid sports fan attending many Milwaukee Braves games and having season tickets to the Packers when they played in Milwaukee. Trudy faithfully fulfilled her role as godmother. She was preceded in death by, her parents; step mother, Agnes Roggendorf-Klotz; her sister, Lucille Schweiger; two brothers, Reverend Claude Klotz SDS, Joseph Klotz; and four step sisters, Anne Ernst, Agnes Widmar, Elizabeth Schneeberger and Helen Zievers. Trudy is survived by, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral Mass for Trudy will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (4804 - 7th Avenue) with burial to follow at St. George Cemetery. Lawrence Rodriguez 1946 - 2015 Lawrence Rodriguez, 69, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015. Lawrence was born on Aug. 9, 1946, in Racine, Wis., the son of the late Pablo and Theadora (Carren) Rodriguez. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Lawrence married Rosemary Klowa on Oct. 21, 1967, in Kenosha. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic at C.N.H. in Racine for almost 50 years. His hobbies included walking his dog, Breezy, motorcycles, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Rodriguez of Kenosha; son, Joseph Rodriguez of Kenosha; brothers, Walter and Aaron II; sisters, Tina, Pauline, Mary, Lupe, Avent, and Dora; sister-in-law Nanci Eckert; nieces, Lisa (Earl Owens) Eckert and Dawn Pena; nephew, Ron; great nieces, Katie, Emy, and Jaime. Also survived by many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron I, in infancy, and a sister, Connie, brother-in-law, Joe Eckert and father-in-law Tony Klowa. Wilda, Robert - Kenosha  
Robert C. Wilda 1939 - 2015 Robert C. Wilda, 75, passed from this life on Sept. 1, 2015, at his home. He was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Gibson, Wis., to Elmer and Adeline (Steuck) Wilda. Bob served in the National Guard and in the U.S. Navy. On Oct. 2, 1965, he married Linda Starr at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Bob was retired from Wisconsin Bell and he and Linda moved to Richland Center at that time. Bob was a quiet man who loved to hunt and fish and he was a big fan of NASCAR and the Packers. He was an active member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving Bob are his wife of almost 50 years, Linda, and his son, Tyson Wilda, both of Kenosha. He is also survived by three sisters, Nancy Rau of Baraboo, Barbara Nickel of LaCrosse, and Linda VanDreese of Sturgeon Bay. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved son, Dustin Bryon Wilda in 1999; parents; and sisters, Beverly Martin, Pat Brown and Carol Hamilton. Gregg Frank Herrmann 1955 - 2015 Gregg Frank Herrmann, 59, of Hopkins, Minn., formerly of Kenosha, passed away from esophageal cancer on Aug. 29, 2015. He was born in Kenosha, Wis., on Dec. 21, 1955, moved to Minneapolis in 1973 to attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Pharmacy School in 1979. He began working for the University of Minnesota Hospital in 1980 and continued to work with the University and Fairview Health Systems until the week of his passing. Gregg died peacefully, surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother, and a dedicated pharmacist. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Herrmann. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carolyn; daughters, Emily, Katherine, and Sophie; mother Ruth E. Herrmann; siblings, Virginia (William) Brydges, Susan (Robin) Debe, Kathleen (Kenneth) Hagen, Ruthann (David) Alfredson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church (St. Johns Campus) 6 Interachen Rd, Hopkins, Minn., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
