1958 - 2014
Daniel Werbie, 55, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
Born in Kenosha on March 24, 1958, he was the son of Leonard and Virginia (Jablonski) Werbie. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Daniel was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and received a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from UW-Parkside and he also received a Masters Degree in Human Resources from UW-Milwaukee.
Daniel was formerly employed with the Environmental Protection Agency in Chicago. He enjoyed spending his free time reading, listening to music and attending musical concerts. He always looked forward to the summer when he could get out to ride his BMW motorcycle.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Virginia Sytkowski; his two children, Matthew and Jessica Werbie; a brother, Dr. Thomas S. Werbie, M.D.; two sisters, Judith (Chris) Grainger and Margaret (Eric) Naviasky; a granddaughter, Zoie Werbie; two nieces, Danielle Werbie, Emily Navisky and two nephews, Thomas (Erika) Werbie, Jr. and Andrew Naviasky.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Werbie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 5804 Sheridan Rd. Private interment will be held in St. Casimir Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
