Joseph Beecher

1944 - 2013

Joseph was born on March 30, 1944 in Kenosha, the son of the late William and Adele (Monnier) Beecher. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He was a member of the U.S. Army. He married Jerry Penny Wick on Feb. 14, 1992 in Kenosha, Penny was the love of his life. He was employed at Chrysler for many years but was also a taxi driver and pizza delivery man throughout the years. He was a member Apostolic Faith Church in Pleasant Prairie. His hobbies included cheering for the Packers, trips to casinos, playing cards, bingo, and cribbage, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his brothers, William Beecher of Kenosha, Norm (Louise) Beecher of Georgia, Phil (Judy) Beecher of Antigo, Wis., Ralph Beecher of Kenosha; three step-children, Mark and Kristine Wick of Racine, David and Barbara Wick of Kenosha, and Shirley Wick of Kenosha; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny, and sisters, Adele Redlin and Shirley Burbey.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
