1942 - 2014

Patsy J. Harris, 71, of Kenosha, formerly of Russellville, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at the Hospice House.

She was born on Oct. 26, 1942, to the late George and Mildred (Carrithers) Tharp in Colbert County, Ala.

On May 2, 1959, she married William Harris in Kenosha. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Patsy worked at AMC/Chrysler for 13 years.

Patsy enjoyed keeping up her home and going to flea markets. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Patsy is survived by her loving son, Billy (Roxanne) Harris of Kenosha; her loving daughter, Linda (Kenneth) Liebergen of Hartfordl; her grandchildren, Daniel Harris, Caitlin Holewinski, Samantha (Tom) Robbins, Matthew Holewinski and Timothy Harris, her brothers Bobby Joe Taylor of Littleville, AL and Jimmy Tharp of Bell Buckle, Tenn., and her sister, Bonnie Johnson of Decatur, Ala.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Taylor; her sisters, Betty McCluskey and Joyce Nelson and a sister in infancy.

Funeral services for Patsy will be held on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at the Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, AL (27305 Hwy 24 East Russellville, AL 35653). Interment will take place in Halltown Cemetery. Flowers or memorials to Hospice Alliance (10220 Prairie Ridge Dr. Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158) would be appreciated.
