Shirley G. Spencer, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wis.

She was born in Fulton, Ind., on July 29, 1935, to the late Ivan and Edna (Steininger) Burns. On Nov. 7, 1959, she married H.G. Spencer. Shirley was a pastors wife for 53 years. She was head cook at family camp for over 30 years. Her husband pastored at Kenosha Souls Harbor Church for 30 years and then the Little White Church in Alvin, Wis., for 18 years. She was also a District Bishops wife for 28 years. Shirley was Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary President for 20 years.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Rev. H.G. Spencer of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King; children, Douglas (Judy) Spencer, Michael (Jane) Spencer, Gene (Kathy) Spencer and Rebecca (Dennis) Sweeney; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one very great nephew, Alton Culver, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service will be at the Little White Church in Alvin, WI on Monday, March 18, 2013, at

11 a.m. Friends and family may gather on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
