1914 - 2012

Stanley C. Renick, 99, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Parkside Manor.

He was born on Nov. 2, 1914, to the late Frank and Alexandra (Torada) Renick in Virginia, Minnesota. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.

On Oct. 12, 1940, he married Lucille Margaret Marschner at St. Casimirs Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on Oct. 17, 2012.

Stanley worked as a tool & die maker at Boyer-Schultz in Chicago for a few years, then at AMC for 37 years, retiring in 1976.

Stanley was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. He was a former member of the Kenosha Country Club and the Elks Club.

Stanley loved golfing. He achieved 5 holes in one during his lifetime.

Stanley is survived by his loving children, James (Anita) Renick of Toni, Wis., Gary Renick of Kenosha and Gayle (Jeffrey) Sabitt of Hawthorn Woods, Ill.; his grandchildren, James (Angela) Renick, Anne Marie Renick, Scott Renick, Steven Renick, Mechele McCracken, Nicolle Renick and Claire Sabitt; his three great-grandchildren; his sisters, Dolores (Edward) Bacharz of Aurora, Ill., and Marjorie (Harry) Libby of Boynton Beach, Fla.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter Gladys Renick, his siblings Edward, Clarence, Raymond, Leonard, Ann Cockerill and Jessie Bose.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanley will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church. (7400 39th Ave.). Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
