Virginia May Jonesy Lange

1936 - 2013

Virginia May (nee: Jones) Lange, 77, affectionately referred to as Jonesy by many; passed away at her home early Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Virginia was born on the family farm in Wauzeka, Wis., on June 27, 1936, to the late Grover and Elsie (nee: Dobson) Jones. On Feb. 7, 1959, in St. Marys Catholic Church in Dover, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Donald J. Lange, of whom is an American Motors/ Chrysler retiree.

Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Don; their children, Christopher Lange, Mary (Frank) Zenner, Michael (Judy) Lange and Lawrence (Barbara) Lange; grandchildren, Erin Lange, Josh Lange, Deanna Zenner, Ashley Zenner, Brianna (Kenneth) Schumacher, Bridget Lange, Jessica Lange and Natalie Lange; many other dear relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday evening, Nov. 10, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 95th Street in Sturtevant, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. A reception will follow. Visitation will be in the church on Sunday from 4:30 6:30 pm. Cremation will take place after the services and private entombment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In memory of Virginia, memorials to St. Sebastian Parish have been suggested.
