William G. Wilson Sr.

1928 - 2014

William G. Wilson, Sr., 86, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at Hospice House of Kenosha.

He was born Jan. 30, 1928, son of the late John Andrew and Dorothy Jane (Schrader) Wilson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948 and in the Naval Reserves from 1951 to 1952.

William worked for many years in the family business, Wilsons T.V. and Records, in uptown Kenosha. He also worked for Xerox Corporation and Chrysler as an electrician until his retirement in 1990. Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at the Moose Club where he was a member for many years.

He is survived by his four daughters, Billie (Tom Loewen) Wilson, Karen Corradini, Debbie Wilson and Shari (Jeff Krauss) Pierce; two sons, Shane and William Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, John Andy (Lois) Wilson; and his sisters, Janice (George) Huxhold and Terry (Truman) Andrews.

An informal gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home on from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Bills life will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Wilson Shierk officiating.
