Ann E. Tucker
1924 - 2013
Ann E. Tucker, 88, of Kenosha, died on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on July 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Gejdos) Krman. She attended local schools.
On June 10, 1944 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, she was married to Steve Scuglik. Their union was blessed with three children. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1954. On April 15, 1972, she was united in marriage to Clarence Tucker. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1985.
In the 1950s to 1970s, she was employed as a waitress at Midtown Bar and Restaurant.
Ann was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and their Rosary Society. She enjoyed her weekly Thursday Bingo at the Moose Club and completing difficult crossword puzzles. Her favorite times were spent being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Ray (Joanne) Scuglik, Robert J. (Michelle) Scuglik and Kristine Gundacker; her five grandchildren, Robert (Molly), Michael (Amy), Kyle and Keith Scuglik, and Jenna (Dan) Eternicka; and her seven great grandchildren, Sam, Mia Kay, Alyssa, Bennett, and triplets, Grayce, Payge and Massimo. She is further survived by two sisters, Mary Leipzig and Ethel Richards.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Garchek; a grandson, Carl Gundacker; and a granddaughter, Kara Marie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 10:15 a.m. from the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2223 51st Street. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery. A visitation for Ann will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
