Bertie Fredrick Huetson, Jr.

1921 - 2013

Bertie Fredrick Huetson, Jr., 92, of Kenosha, died at his residence on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013.

Born in London, England on June 21, 1921, he was the son of the late Bertie and Kathleen (Anstee) Huetson, Sr.

During WWII, he served in Englands Royal Air Force.

On Sept. 18, 1948, in London, England, he was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Neeson.

They moved from England to Chicago, and in 2000, they moved to Kenosha.

Bertie was employed as a commercial painter for 40 years, much of that time with Tom Monihan Painting Company. He was a former member of the Chicago Painters and Decorators Union.

Bertie was very talented and enjoyed using his artistic abilities to paint. He also liked doing crafts and building wooden toys.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Margaret Huetson; his son, Michael Huetson; his grandchildren, Sara and William; two brothers, Edward and Stanley (Pat) Huetson; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Brink; a brother, John; and two sisters, Kathleen and Joan.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Berties life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
