Betty Louise Buckta
1929 - 2013
Betty Louise Buckta, 83 of Batesville passed away Monday, June 25, 2013 in Batesville. She was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Kenosha Wis., to Edmond Rollie Wade and Laura Blackmon Wade. She was a registered nurse, of the United Methodist Faith, loved studying Gods Word and participating in Bible studies, she enjoyed nursing education, taught CNA classes, worked in a thrift store, was a member of the Eastern Star, AARP and Secretary/Treasurer of AANHR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil Paul Buckta, and one son-in-law Terry Beyer.
Survivors include two sons Andrew Buckta of Elkhart, Ind., and Brian Buckta of La Farge, Wis.; two daughters, Laura Ray of Fayetteville and Michele Beyer Meadows of Cleburne, Tex.; one brother, Gilbert Wade of Kenosha, Wis.; and one sister, Donna Webb of Mercer, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013, at Salado Baptist Church with Gary Xiques and Barrett Beyer officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time on June 28.
Burial will follow in Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, Wis. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Hogan, Adam Beyer, Bill Ray, Nathaniel Long and Brian Beyer.
A funeral service will also be held on Monday, July 1, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home, 6019 7th Ave, Kenosha. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to AANHR
