Charles R. Fry

1941 - 2014

Charles R. Chuck Fry of Waubeka, passed away at his winter residence in Crystal River, Fla., on Jan. 12, 2014. He was 72 years old. Chuck was born June 17, 1941, in Rock County, Wis., to Marvin and Ione (Snyder) Fry. He was a retired truck driver, an avid sportsman, a family man and a Patriot who loved this country. He was proud to be a lifetime member of the NRA. Chuck spent much of his adult life in Wheatland.

He was preceded in death by a son David A. Fry in 1994. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Lou of Waubeka, a doting daughter Susan Fry Baker (Henry) and a son, Charles R. Fry Jr. (Karen) of Howard Grove, Wis. He will always be remembered with love by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, from 4-7 p.m. at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 North Port Washington Road in Mequon. Interment will be at the Willow Valley Cemetery in Richland County, Wisconsin on Saturday. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that you take an extra moment to tell someone close to you how much you love them.
