Frances M. Ruetten

1930 - 2014

Frances M. Ruetten, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on June 5, 1930, to the late Rueben and Minnie (Johnson) Dissmore in Whitehall, Wis. She was educated in the schools of Whitehall.

On Feb. 9, 1951, she married Bernard Ruetten in Waukegan. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2003.

Frances enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking her famous cinnamon rolls and loved being the neighborhood mom.

Frances is survived by her children, Benjamin of Elkhorn, Bryon (Lydia), Brandon, Nora, Luann, Barry, Brent and Karen Joy all of Kenosha, her five grandchildren, her five great grandchildren and her brother James Dissmore of Mass.

She is preceded in death by a son Bernard Buddy Jr., her brothers Richard Dissmore and Robert Dissmore and her sisters Ruby Dissmore and Ruth Rosenberg.

Funeral Services for Frances will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening (TODAY) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Blue jean attire has been requested by Frances. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
