Irene Lee White, 63, of Trevor, Wis., passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha, Wis.
She was born Jan. 30, 1950, in Libertyville, Ill., the daughter of the late Dennie and Youla (Mynard) Kirk. On April 13, 1991, she married Charles White in Waukegan, Ill., and has lived in the Kenosha County area for the past 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, going to flea markets and garage sales, cooking, and most of all; she cherished time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Chuck; six children, Paul (Sandra) Hill of McHenry, Ill., Dennis (Donna) Hill of Trevor, Sheila (Jim Barton) Miller of Genoa City, Wis., Sanford Hill, Jr of Kenosha, Wis., James Hill of Shawano, Wis., and Christopher Hill of Trevor, Wis.; nine grandchildren, John Paul (Gina), Matthew, Kody, Brett, Kyle, Cassie, Austin, Haley, and Jaycee; three great-grandchildren, Danae, Jordan, and Gianna; her brother, Loren (Debbie) Kirk of Wisconsin Dells, WI; and her adored Chihuahua, Ruby. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her first husband, Sanford Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL. Interment will follow in Grant Cemetery, Grant Twsp., IL.
