Joanne Brosnan, 77, of Lake Geneva passed away Friday Oct. 19, 2012, at Kenosha Estates surrounded by her family.
Joanne was born on Aug. 13, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie (Wojno) Jones. She was educated in the schools of Detroit. She married Mike Brosnan in 1990 in Bradenton, Fla. She was employed for numerous years as a school teacher in Buffalo Grove, Ill. She was also the owner of the Fox Hole Tavern in Lake Geneva for many years. Her hobbies included politics, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Bradley Olson of Round Lake, Ill., Kim (Bill) Farmer of Lake Geneva, Wis.; and her grandchildren, Britney, Eric and Chad Farmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike in 1995.
Funeral services were private.
