Patrick Shane "Pat" Friedrich

1963 - 2018

With great sadness and remembrance the family of Patrick "Pat" Shane Friedrich announces his peaceful passing on the date of Friday, Sept.7,2018, at the age of 55.

Patrick will be lovingly remembered by his sisters: Bridget (Dave) Lawson, Colleen (Chris) Sunderland, Meagan Peterson, Erin Friedrich (Charles Crandall)  and Maureen (Neil) Redding. He will fondly be remembered by his nieces and nephews, Alea Barns, William Sunderland, Dylan Sunderland, Michael Peterson, Melissa Fazinni, Kayla Foster, Jen Hoffman, Ira Lawrence, Geo Lawrence, Sommer Lawrence, Peter Smedley, and great nieces and nephews Jordyn, Aubree, Aiden, Hunter, Landon, Haven, Alex, Ridley, and Braden.

Patrick was born on July 2, 1963, in Kenosha Wis. to Kathleen and Donald Friedrich. Pat was an eccentric man of artistry who expressed his love through drawing, designing, and working with his hands. His first job at ZB Body Shop of Winthrop Harbor, Ill. developed his passion for Hot Rods. He loved to work on cars, from creating and modifying the body to replacing engines, which eventually became his career. In the late 90's Pat moved to Ludington Mich. and found a job working in a scrap yard. Here he was able to use his creativity and skills to assist and teach others in fixing their own vehicles. Later in life he moved to Traverse City to help his friends with their farm, inciting a newfound love for agriculture. Pat then moved to North Muskegon where he enjoyed working on model cars, tinkering around with his lawn tractor, and spending time with his great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Elizabeth Friedrich and Father Donald Gerhard Friedrich of Kenosha Wisconsin.

Thank you to Heartland Health Care and their compassionate staff. A special thank you to all who help care for Pat in his time of need.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sept. 21, 2018, at noon at All Saints Cemetery, Kenosha, WI.
