Robert E. Koba
1932 - 2013
Robert E. Koba passed peacefully to eternal life on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.
Bob was born on April 23, 1932, to Edward H. and Sally (Kunda) Koba. He was raised in Trempealeau, Wis. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and his family will forever remember the great times they spent with him at the family cottage on the Mississippi River.
Bob joined the United States Air Force and proudly served our Country in the Korean War. Upon returning from the war, Bob worked various jobs until he settled in Kenosha, Wis.
He was a machinist by trade, and retired from MacWhyte Wire and Rope Company.
His biggest joy was attending all of his grandchildrens sporting events and was their number one fan. He was also a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.
He is survived by two sons, Edward A.(Lisa) Koba of Kenosha, and Charles E. (Tricia) Koba of Peoria, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Crystal (Joseph) Vlahovic, MacKenzie Koba, Amber Singleton, Zachary Koba, Jacob Koba, Chad Koba, and two great granddaughters, Isabelle Vlahovic and Raelynn Koba.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two sons in infancy.
Bobs life will be remembered with a private service. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask you to make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or one of your choice.
