Robert H. Schwartz, 87, a resident of Kenosha died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at his residence.

Robert was born in Racine on June 12, 1930. He was the son of Henry and Anna (Keloski) Schwartz. He was educated in the local schools and served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. On June 16, 1951, he was united in marriage with Sharon Kollman in Waukegan. She preceded him in death in 2010.

Robert was employed for 30 years at Case. He enjoyed rooting for Chicago sports teams and spending time with his family and his animals. He loved jazz music and was particularly partial to Frank Sinatra. He and his wife were longtime members of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Robert is survived by his beloved daughter, Shari (William) Werve and by his two grandchildren, Mathias Werve and Anna Werve, all of Kenosha.

Preceding Robert in death were his parents, his wife Sharon, and one brother, Richard Schwartz.

Funeral service will be held on Friday Oct. 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church (3833-8th avenue). Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
