Roger D. Aguero
1947 - 2013
Roger D. Aguero; 65, lifelong resident of Salem, Wis., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. He was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Andrew and Stella (Owisianiak) Aguero. Roger proudly served in the U.S. Army in VietNam, and loved hunting, fishing, golfing, cooking, gardening, photography, and especially being with his family. Before his retirement in 2007, Roger worked for many years with the Kenosha County Highway Department. On July 14, 1984, he married Gayanne Logan in Kenosha, Wis.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Gayanne; two children, Quinn Aguero of Twin Lakes, Wis., and Amber Aguero of Salem, Wis.; mother-in-law, Joann Logan of Crystal Falls, Mich.; his in-laws, Mark (Suzie) Logan of Indiana, Larry (Judith) Logan of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Curtis (Alice) Logan of Racine, Wis., Jack (Belinda) Logan of Blaine, Minn., Dawn Hess of Pennsylvania, Melanie Logan of Florida, Gerald (Keri) of Crystal Falls, Mich., and Michael (Patti) Logan of Blaine, Minn., and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Andy.
A Celebration of his life will be held 7 p.m. Friday Aug. 16, 2013, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. Interment will be private.
