Alfred Freddie Buff Ruffalo

1934 - 2014

Alfred Freddie Buff Ruffalo, 80, of Kenosha died peacefully early Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, surrounded by his loving children, in the home he was born and raised.

Born on Jan. 14, 1934, at home, he was the son of the late Gaspare and Filomena (Ponziano) Ruffalo.

Al attended Jefferson Elementary, Washington Jr. High, and was a graduate of Kenosha High School.

He began his career with Vincent Mc Call and AMC. He retired from Ladish Tri Clover as a Machine Operator after thirty years of faithful service to the Company.

Apart from his family, Als life was consumed with everything to do with fishing. He was a proud member of the Kenosha Sports Fishing and Conservation Assoc. and Walleyes Unlimited. He will be remembered for his beautifully hand crafted rods and lures. For over thirty years he taught a class in fly tying. His time spent with family at his cabin in Castle Rock, Wis., was invaluable.

He was also a proud member of IAM Lodge #34, the Italian American Society and the Moose Lodge #286.

Left to cherish their memories are his children, Alfred (Sandra) Ruffalo, twins Laurie (Lorrey Siler) and Larry (Susan Jepson) Ruffalo, and David (Stacy) Ruffalo; his grandchildren, Dustin and Josh Ruffalo, Breanne (Paul) McGuire, Kaylin Edwards, Austin Ruffalo, Shannon (Michael) Ruffalo-Hunter, and Lauriann Ruffalo; and seven great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Art Ruffalo.

Along with his parents, AL was preceded in death by his step mother, Concetta (Venci) Ruffalo, and two brothers, Peter and Robert Ruffalo.
