Morene E. DiCastri

1928 - 2014

Morene E. DiCastri, 85, of Kenosha, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1928, to the late Charles and Edna (Corcoran) Boero in Coal City, Ill. She was

educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.

On April 12, 1947, she married Peter DiCastri in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1987.

Morene worked at Moody Bible Institute as a receptionist for 20 years. She also worked at Julies Bookstore downtown and at Wal-Mart.

Morene was a member of the Northside Bible Church where she was very active.

Morene enjoyed reading and watching I Love Lucy reruns and Gone with the Wind.

Morene is survived by her son, Perry (Sharon)

DiCastri of Mokena, Ill.; her brother, Charles (Edna) Boero of Somers; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Morene will be held on Monday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
