Gary F. Pease

1947 - 2014

Gary F. Pease, 66, of Antioch, Ill., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

He was born June 22, 1947, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Clifford and Gladys (Speaker) Pease, living in Lake County for over forty years. Before his retirement in 1999, Gary worked for many years as an electrician for North Shore Sign, Libertyville, Ill., and was a proud member of the IBEW Local #150. Gary was past president of the Right Wing Pheasant Club, Bristol, Wis., and enjoyed drag racing and cars (especially Mustangs). On April 16, 1966, he married Mary Bromberek in Chicago, Ill.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 48 years, Mary; eight children, Stacey (Kelly) Pease of Bristol, Wis., Shawn (Dan) Tarsa of Silver Lake, Wis., James (Jill) Pease of Washington, Lisa (David) Steinmetz of Trevor, Wis., Christian (Debbie) Pease of Kenosha, Corene Howe of Florida, Denise (Brian) Gesiorski of Florida, and Anthony Pease of Florida; 14 grandchildren, Daniel and Stephanie Tarsa, James, Jonathon, Joshua and Zachary Pease, Rubie Steinmetz, Jacob and Jared Pease, Kiley, Kennedy, and Fredrick Howe, and Alexandra and Gabriel Gesiorski; three great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Drake Tarsa, and Jameson Pease; two siblings, Gregory (Charlene) Pease of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Karen (Richard) Gertz of Lindenhurst, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother Christian.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002. Interment will be private.
