She retired as the early service organist at St. Marys after 33 years of service. For many years after that she continued to act as a substitute organist for St. Marys and several other local churches.

After graduation from Business College Doris was secretary to seven doctors at the Kenosha Clinic. Later she was a teller at the Brown National Bank and the First National Bank of Kenosha.

A memorial service will be held at St. Marys Lutheran Church (2001 80th St.) on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A Burial Service will be held at Green Ridge Cemetery for the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Marys Lutheran Church Quilters, St. Marys Endowment Fund, Hospice Advantage or St. Josephs Home would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Advantage, especially Dr. Bharathi Pulla and Angel Peterson; and the entire staff of St. Josephs Home for the excellent and compassionate care she received during her time with them.
