Erwin W. Kisser

1924 - 2014

Erwin W. Kisser, 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, with his daughter by his side, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Brookside Care Center.

He was born on May 1, 1924, to the late William and Martha (Sittes) Kisser in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.

Erwin entered the US Army on April 24, 1943. He served during WWII and was honorably discharged on Jan. 3, 1946.

In May of 1983 he married Irene Gaber in Kenosha.

Erwin worked at Tri-Clover/Laddish Company for 42 years, retiring in 1983.

Erwin loved fishing, hunting and woodworking. He also raised pigeons for many years.

Erwin is survived by his wife Irene of Kenosha, his daughters, Lynette Jurgens of Kenosha and Marilyn (Paul) Holland of Ohio; his stepson Ken (JoD) Mitchell of Oak Lawn, Ill.; his four grandchildren; his two step grandchildren and his 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Erwin will be held on Monday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will Full Military Honors will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again on Monday from 12 (Noon) until the time of service at the funeral home.
