1964 - 2014
Kelly J. Hardy, 50, of Kenosha, passed away following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Aurora St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee.
Born on Feb. 12, 1964, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Henry Hank and Joann (Dunham) Daniels. She attended local schools, was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, received her BA from Southeastern College in Lakeland, Fla., and a Masters Degree in Administration from National Louis University.
On July 12, 1986, Kelly was united in marriage to Troy Hardy at First Assembly of God. God blessed them with three sons and 27 years of marriage.
She was employed with Kenosha Unified School District for 10 years.
Kelly was a faith filled, Christian woman and a devoted member of Journey Church. She enjoyed reading and riding on the motorcycle with her husband. Kelly found great joy spending time with her children and was blessed to welcome her first granddaughter this past year.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Troy; her mother, Joanne Daniels; their three sons, Troy (Brianna) Jr., Alexander (Bethany) and Wesley Hardy; two brothers, David (Irene) and Ron (Lou Ann) Daniels; a granddaughter, Audrey; her nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Hank, in 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, May 16, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
