Ronald Marcus Jumper
1949 - 2014
Ronald Marcus Jumper, 64, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family June 12, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha, Wis.
Ronnie was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Booneville, Miss. He was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, Ill. He married Deborah A. "Debbie" Wasurick on March 30, 2004, in Gatlinburg, Tenn. Ronald worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Local 150, and owned and operated several family owned businesses in Kenosha, including the popular Jumpers Hangout in the 1970s. Ronnie was an avid sports fan who supported many different teams. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Debbie Jumper; one daughter, Amanda Rose of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Trudy Ann Shaw of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; brother, Joseph Riley Jumper of Kenosha, Wis.; and nephew Cody Jefferson Shaw of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Cullen Marcus and Bobbie Nell Jumper.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the McMillan Funeral Home, 702 W College St, Booneville, MS. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jumpertown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Aurora Health Care Foundation, 950 North 12th Street, Suite A511, Milwaukee, WI 53233 would be appreciated.
