Bernice J. Williams
Bernice Williams, 75, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2014, at Hospice House.
Bernice was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Bernard and Georgia May (Hilton) Mathen. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. Bernice married Frank Palmer Williams on Oct. 26, 1955, in Chicago. She was employed as a supervisor at Northern Telecom for many years. Bernice attended Christian Faith Church at Casa Del Mare. Her hobbies included crafts, painting, Wii bowling, playing bingo, and singing in the choir at Brookside in Vernon Hills. Bernice was very artistic and lived her retirement years to the fullest.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Paul) Kero of Danville, Ill., Laura Williams of Trevor, Bernard Bud (Sonia) Williams of Danville, Ill., Steven Williams of Danville, Ill; grandchildren, Kevin (Solange Bach) Wolfe, Erin Kero, Amy (Tavis) Frier, Tyler, Rebecca, and Dakota Williams; great grandchildren, Emma and Abigail Frier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, sisters, Irene Hamilton and May Combs.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Casa Del Mare, 3508-7th Ave, Kenosha, WI, at 10 a.m.
