Vincent Ray Kratzer

1934 - 2014

Vincent Ray Kratzer, 80, of Kenosha passed away Thursday, June 25, 2014, at United Hospital System-Kenosha with his family at his side.

He was born April 8, 1934, in Morrow, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Edna (Ross) Kratzer, educated in the schools of Ohio. He has lived in Kenosha for the past 40 years.

He had been in the United States Army. In 1981 He married Corana Conley in Kenosha.

He was an electrician at American Motors/Chrysler Corp. for over 30 years, retiring in 2001. Vincent was a lifetime member of the V.F.W., he also enjoyed watching football and studying history.

Surviving is his wife, Corana Kratzer of Kenosha. His four children; Toby (Jenny) Kratzer of Kenosha; Vincent (Michelle) Kratzer, Jr; Mary Allison (Bob), and Kimberly Kratzer all of Ohio.; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover and Robert Kratzer.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, at 12 noon at Proko Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at Proko Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
