1942 - 2014

Bonnie J. Mitterreiter, 71, of Marinette, Wis., passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

The former Bonnie J. Hartnell was born Sept. 28, 1942, in Kenosha, Wis., to the late Thomas G. and Mary E. (Timme) Hartnell. She spent her early years in Kenosha, and moved to Amberg, Wis., in 1989, with her husband to be near her parents after her husband had retired from Daimler-Chrysler plant in Kenosha. They later moved to Marinette to aid her parents while her father had cancer.

After graduating from Mary Bradford High School in 1960, she attended GTI Technical School for 2 years. She worked for an insurance agent, Kelsey Welding, Kappus Bread Store, Sears and Vigansky Appliance Store, all in Kenosha, until her retirement in 1989. During her life in Kenosha, she married Thomas J. Mitterreiter on Aug. 4, 1962, at the First Methodist Church where she was a member. When she and her husband moved to Marinette, they managed Foxx Glen and Forest Glen Mobile Home Parks until 2002. She enjoyed traveling, camping, horseback riding, swimming, and crafts, but most of all, doll collecting.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Thomas of Marinette; two daughters, Kimberly (James) A. Mauser of Kenosha and Vicki (Kenneth) J. Perry of Amberg; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Jr., Megan and Robert Perry of Amberg; her two brothers, Leith T. Hartnell of Green Bay and Floyd A. Hartnell of Pleasant Prairie; ex-sister-in-law, Patricia Hartnell; nephews, Christopher and Robert Hartnell of Kenosha; father-in-law and brother-in-law, Leslie and David Mitterreiter of LaCrosse. Also very close friends, Janet and Bob Zink of Kenosha. An infant son James, an infant daughter Jackie and mother-in-law, Marie, preceded her in death.

No funeral services will be held.
