Dolores J. Fonk-Cavallo

1953 - 2012

Dolores J. Fonk-Cavallo made her last travel plans as she departed this life for a heavenly bound flight on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. Surrounded in love and family she left us on wings of angels. She fought a courageous fight against an aggressive cancer.

She was born in Kenosha, Wis., on July 29, 1953, to Russell and Adelaide (nee: Plein). She was raised and educated in Kenosha. On Feb. 27, 1993 she married Robert J. Cavallo and together they had a son, Nicholas R. Cavallo. In 1978, she purchased and operated Traveliesure. She was a member of the Wisconsin Club and the Elm Grove Business Association.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, son and family, Carol Uebe of Racine, Pat (Randy) Pulera of Kenosha, Elaine (Jim) Ruebsamen of Racine, Leona Fonk of Pewaukee, Linda Fonk of Racine, Sherry(Bob) Flynn of St. Paul, Minn., Kathy Kraemer of Mequon, Jim(Barb) Cavallo of Pewaukee, Tom(Jo Ann) Cavallo of Hudson, Fla., Betty Jo (Jerry) Zuba of Brookfield; best friend, Diane Taglianetti of Kenosha; along with other dear friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Betty and Joseph Cavallo, brother Frank Fonk and brother-in-law Phil Uebe.

Visitation Wednesday, August 29 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, from 4-6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 7 PM. Private interment at St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, Paris.
