Lee E. Marks

1931 - 2013

Lee E. Marks, 81, of Kenosha, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Kenosha Estates.

Born on June 17, 1931, in Warren, Ark., he was the son of the late Bennie and Ollie (Ganner) Marks. He moved to Kenosha in 1961.

On June 24, 1966, in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Robbiezine Campbell.

For 28 years, Lee was employed as a Machine Operator with MacWhyte Wire Rope Company, retiring in 1997. He also worked part-time as a bus monitor with Laidlaw Bus Service for nine years.

He was a former member of Second Baptist Church, the MacWhyte Retirement Club, the Wise Owl Club and Local Union #690. Lee was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed using his chain saw to cut and trim trees to perfection.

Lee will be deeply missed by his wife of 46 years, Robbiezine of Kenosha; his daughter, Pauline Green of Milwaukee; his three brothers, Bennie (Ruthie) Marks, Jr., James (Thelma) Marks and Willie (Joyce) Marks, all of Kenosha; his two granddaughters; his two great granddaughters; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eartha Lee Franklin.

Private funeral services and interment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Lee will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Second Baptist, 3925 32nd Ave., Kenosha, WI, 53144 or the , SE Wisconsin Chapter, 620 S. 76th St., Ste. 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214, would be appreciated.
